Maths, Science, Engineering and English Mentor

 

Louise has been teaching for more than 18 years, predominantly in British schools and colleges. She is a very experienced teacher, having taught Mathematics, Engineering, Chemistry, Physics to GCSE & A-level, and also Biology to GCSE. Her first degree was Mineral Engineering at Leeds University, which encompassed maths, chemistry & physics alongside engineering, which gives her a diverse knowledge base across a variety of interlinked subjects. She then worked as a Process Engineer for Anglo American for 5 years, before qualifying as a teacher from Durham University. This valuable experience in industry allows her to incorporate real-world examples in her teaching, and to link education with industry.
